I am still learning this platform (like, VERY much still learning), but I think this will be fun! Now we shippers can get to know each other instead of just shouting into a shared void and hoping the echoes bounce off someone else!

That "shouting into a shared void" that's typical for Tumblr is precisely the thing that has made me miss LJ - I loved how the communities worked there <3 (Another thing I've missed is being able to actually *gasp* reply to comments properly.)

And this is sort of a semi-new platform for me, too, since it's been years since I last was active on LJ, and even though DW is very similar, I'm still very much trying to figure out how things work around here.

I feel like I'm shouting into even more of a void here-- I have literally two followers, and I don't think either of you are very active here. X-D I guess it remains to be seen where the diaspora will finally settle. :P I hate how much is going to be lost in the process!

Me too! I mean, I'm not that far from the time when Tumblr was a total void for me, so I guess the starting over is a little less scary for me, especially since I'm not starting from nothing! *beams at all of you* But I agree about hoping people settle in the same place!

Hello everyone, * waves awkwardly* I never had an LJ account, so this is a completely new platform for me (I have no idea what I'm doing!). The ability to hold a conversation in a thread is a nice change from Tumblr.

I may (definitely) have followed the three of you to this platform, given some time, I hope that most others will settle into one place as well. So, anyway, I just wanted to say hello :)
